Like I said, I’m trying to get the regular season done. Here’s the two for one special on ESEA wrap ups tonight. I just realized that I’ve gone a tad out of order for the last couple recaps, but this one was the second to last match of the regular season. The pressure is mounting as the seedings for the playoffs begin to be determined. Every win counts. This match was against Nightmares. I haven’t heard of this team before, but they were good enough to make the playoffs as well and face us again a couple days later. The only person on the roster that I’ve heard of it Pride, and he’s a bit infamous for being the foreign version of BitByBit: all in all day every day. Let’s see just how good these guys are though.
Results:
xSixSycknesS < NMxKimChiAstrea 0:2
xSixSuppy > NMxHendralisk 2:0
xSixMystik > NMxNoxn 2:0
xSixMkengyn < NMxMasa 1:2
xSixMystik > NMxKimChiAstrea 2:1
Phew that was a close one. Mystik played very well the whole time, and in his game against KimChi on Shakuras he appeared to be in total control of the game by getting up to four bases while keeping his opponent on two. He then proceeded to set up spine crawlers using overlord creep. SycknesS looked pretty good even though he got 2-0’d. It seemed like he would see the incoming attack just a couple seconds too late to get enough units up in time to face it. Suppy dominated Hendralisk with his stellar ZvZ. Mkengyn just got a bit unlucky against Masa. He got a little behind in both games, and it just snowballed from there. Thanks for reading, and I’ll keep getting these out in order to catch up with all the series that I’ve missed!
