Hello and welcome back to my belated coverage of our ESEA matches! This time, I’ve got the replays from our match against Infinity Seven. A pretty good, yet relatively unknown team, they have players like Maker and Time on their roster. This late in the season, every win means playoff ranking, and neither teams wants to give away a tough loss. Prior to this match, Infinity Seven had lost to an incredibly strong team, Its GoSu, so they were looking to rebound from that, while Check Six had been riding a seven match winning streak. Let’s look to see how the games turned out.

Juan came up big for us in this one. He beat our former player, Maker and then won the match in the third game of the fifth set. This is perhaps the first time I’ve ever been a bit disappointed to watch BoO’s set. One game he went proxy four rax marauder and won the game, but in the other two he either just played standard or was forced into it by insure’s great scouting. They were still decent games, but not the all out cheese fest that his games usually are. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Ver play, and his games impressed me. He plays so safe that it’s astounding. His sim city is spot on; every building goes in a spot that benefits him for it to be there. I’m looking forward to see Ver play some more. CheckSix takes the series 3-2 and increases their winning stream to eight matches. Thanks for reading and I’ll keep getting these out to you loyal readers! Until next time.
