CheckSix announces TF2

As CheckSix Gaming begins to re-emerge as a dominant eSports organization; we will begin by announcing our newly acquired TF2 team. One of the more recent competitive games in the community, Team Fortress 2 has really picked up a following over the past year.

CheckSix.TF2 is composed of players who once occupied some of the top TF2 teams in the scene. Justin, the leader of the division, hails from ‘50|cal’ while NightMare and TecH come from ‘Legacy Mix.’ Yaug from ‘xen’ and bman from Team ‘Eximius’ also round off the starting roster with Ruwin.

The team is currently sitting at (3-0-0) in the second season of CEVO-Professional. With their most recent win over ‘actuaL’ – they show no signs of slowing down. Some other notable teams participating in CEVO include: Pandemic, Eximius, Sway, 50 Calibre & Devastation.
The team will also be participating in the CGS’s online league, the Pro-Am. Currently they sit (1-0-0), where they hope to establish themselves, and the x6 name, within the TF2 community.

x6.TF2 Roster:

Justin “Justin” White
Sven “Ruwin” Zobler
Craig “NightMare`HX” Webb
Rob “bman” Reitmeier
Matthew “TecHNaSTy” Lorenzini

x6.LoSt-CaUzE places 1st at NVISION for UT3

If you have bought a set of Able Planet Headphones in the past year and a half, chances are you have probably seen the packaging with a picture of a man with the nickname Lost-Cauze. Rafik "LoSt-CaUzE" Bryant is arguably one of the greatest players in all of Quake 4. He has now set his eyes on participating competitively with Check 6 and he started so by crushing every opponent by a large margin in the NVision 2008 Unreal Tournament 3 Tournament.

Rafik did not plan to participate in Unreal Tournament 3, 1v1 bracket. He had only played the game two times previous, less than one week in all, and he is excited to prove himself best at Nvision. He was nervous coming into the event with the amount of time "ecstasy" has put into the game, but his experience in first person shooters and previous versions of Unreal Tournament proved to be enough.

Rafik completely dismantled the competition, taking each game played at an average of 24-2. In total, he played 6 matches, two rounds each. In the finals, Rafik played Ecstasy, the top female player at the competition and won 28-8.
